- 1/2 pound of large shrimp, (peeled and deveined)
- 1 tablespoon of hoisin sauce
- 1/2 pound of thinly sliced (boneless skinless) chicken breast,
- 1 teaspoon of cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1/2 pound (cut into thin strips) beef sirloin
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup of sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup of (drained and sliced) water chestnuts,
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 cups of broccoli florets
- 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
In a small pot, first you mix the oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, and cornstarch.
Now heat one tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok high heatAdd the shrimp and these stir fry until they turn pink. Remove and set aside.
Now in the same wok, add another tablespoon of oil, and stir fry the chicken until it is no longer pink.
Next you stir fry the beef until it's browned on all sides. Remove and set aside.
In the same wok, add the minced garlic, broccoli, bell pepper, mushrooms, and water chestnuts. Stir fry for three or four minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
Return the shrimp, chicken, and beef to the wok, and pour in the sauce mixture. Toss everything together until the well-coated and heated through.
