Ingredients
  

  • Diced chicken 2 cups 
  • Finely chopped onion 1
  • Sliced mushrooms 1 cup 
  • Chopped carrots 1 cup 
  • Heavy cream 1 cup 
  • Chopped fresh parsley 1/4 cup 
  • Garlic, minced 3 cloves 
  • Chicken broth 2 cups
  • All-purpose flour 1/2 cup 
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: In a medium skillet, sauté diced chicken until golden brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside these. Then in the same skillet, add carrots, mushrooms, onion, and garlic. And sauté these until tender.
  • Step 2: Now sprinkle flour over the vegetable mixture, then stirring continuously to create a roux. Now gradually pour in chicken broth, and allow the mixture to simmer until it thickens.
  • Step 3: Pour in cream and stir continuously. Then season with pepper and salt. Now reintroduce the sautéed chicken to the skillet. Stir these until the ingredients are well combined.
  • Step 4: Pour the fricassee mixture on top of the batter, spreading it evenly. Bake for a 25 minutes or until these golden brown.
