Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  •  1/4 cups milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Instructions
 

Step 1: Prepare the Batter

  • In a big mixing bowl. You combine the all purpose flour,  baking powder, sugar, and salt. Now mix welluntil all the dry ingredients are evenly incorporated.

Step 2: Add the Wet Ingredients

  • Pour in the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Use a whisk orfork to gently combine the wet and dry ingredients together. Be careful not toovermix; a few lumps are perfectly fine as they will contribute to the fluffytexture of the pancakes.

Step 3: Heat the Pan

  • Place a non stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Allow it to heat upfor a few minutes until it is evenly heated. You can test if the pan is readyby sprinkling a few drops of water on its surface, f the water sizzles andevaporates, it is time to start cooking.

Step 4: Cook the Pancakes

  • Using a measuring cup pour approximately 1/4 cup of the pancake batter ontothe preheated pan for each pancake. Cook until bubbles start to form. Then flipthe pancake using a spatula. Continue cooking for until both sides are goldenbrown.

Step 5: Serve and Garnish

  • Transfer the cooked pancakes to a plate and repeat the cooking process withthe remaining batter. Once all the pancakes are ready, then it is time to getcreative with your toppings. Now sprinkle fresh berries on top. Then add adollop of whipped cream, and drizzle some maple syrup for an extra touch ofsweetness.
